Pastor Demond Hammond is founding pastor of Faith Christian Center Church located in Roanoke, Virginia. A humble servant, Pastor Hammond has served in various capacities within the Lord's church, Minister of Music, Assistant Pastor, Associate Pastor, etc. Pastor Hammond having received Christ at the age of ten after the marriage of his stepfather to his mother. Out of the union of Bishop Sherman Martin and former Cynthia (Hammond) Martin (mother), a anointed mantle was placed upon Pastor Hamond. Bishop Sherman Martin founder of St. John's Outreach Center allowed the anointing that was placed upon Pastor Hammond to go forth in ministry at an early age. In his early teens, Pastor Hammond facilitated bible studies and ministered Sunday Morning Services
Having received a clarion call in 2007 Pastor Hammond found Bridge of Faith Ministries which at that time was nothing more than an online ministry. Today, this ministry reaches more that 23,000 people around the world through email devotionals and international missions. Additionally, in 2007 Pastor Hammond started an early Sunday morning service. Out of this call, came the birth of Faith Christian Center. FCC is a new ministry committed to ministering to the lost and preaching, teaching, and releasing the word of God to those who are in need.
The year 2008 has been the year of manifestation for Faith Christian Center. God has shown himself mighty and has positioned the ministry to be great in him and fulfill the call of the Lord. Addtionally, in 2008 Faith Christian Center has established the Faith Fellowship, a body of like minded ministers, pastors, and churches who seek ministerial fellowship and covering..
